CLASS OF 2014

Max Fenton ‘14

As a 2014 graduate of Scituate High School, Maxwell Fenton ’14 hasn’t been away from his hometown for long, but in just that short time he has traveled the world. He received his bachelor’s in Chemistry from the University of California, Berkley and studied abroad for six months in Auckland, New Zealand. He now resides in Chicago and works as a synthetic organic chemist at Argonne National Laboratory, creating new battery electrolytes. The call of the ocean is on his mind. Maxwell is currently applying to graduate programs to pursue a PhD in chemical oceanography. He even tells us, “The lack of the ocean in Chicago has forced me to surf on Lake Michigan!”
