Established in 2016, the Scituate Education Foundation recognizes that Scituate Public School Alumni are making a difference locally and globally. Having grown up in Scituate, you know firsthand how residents of this small town are committed to helping neighbors and building a strong sense of community. We want to ensure these connections are available to you as a Scituate Public School Graduate.

Christine Donehue Cappabianca ‘01

Influenced by Mr. Cedrone, her Scituate High School math teacher, Christine Donehue Cappabianca ’01 pursued an economics degree at Harvard University and is now Vice President of Quantitative Analysis at BNY Mellon. She says that Mr. Cedrone impacted many fellow graduates. “The number of people I have met working in computer programming and related fields in Boston who were influenced by Mr. Cedrone never ceases to impress me!" Christine lives in Scituate with her husband and three children. She credits the friendships she has made in Scituate as a source of strength. “I run before work with a great group of fellow moms who remind me every day of how lucky I am to live here and how hard we work for our kids.”
