Charles Stockbridge is a self-taught marine artist and a student of history and antiquity. His contemporary paintings focus on waterfront, beachfront, classic catboats, sloops, and working craft that ply New England waters. Charlie enjoys painting the Cape and Islands, Maine, and coastal Massachusetts. Charlie endeavors for light and the sublime poetry of God's work.
