Event Date: Saturday, November 3rd, 7 pm
Event Location: Scituate Center for Performing Arts
Join Scituate Education Foundation for Seaside Stories, a live event in which “ordinary” people tell extraordinary true tales from their own lives. The performance will feature members of the Scituate community — our friends, neighbors, and local celebrities — telling 5-minute hand-picked and personal tales on the theme of being “Schooled.” Storytellers will hone their stories as part of a 3-part workshop series under the direction of expert and award-winning storytellers, Andrea Lovett and Meghann Perry. Emceed by recent SHS grad and rising star Roger Dawley and featuring special guest story tellers (and Scituate residents) Peter Mehegan, of Chronicle fame, and Michele Lazcano, reporter for Fox 25 News Boston, the event promises to leave audience members feeling inspired, entertained, and hopefully, more connected to one another and the community through the uniquely human art of storytelling.
Event tickets purchased for the Seaside Stories Performance from 9/24/18 through 10/1/18 will include one free raffle entry per household to win a pair of tickets to see Hamilton in Boston at the Opera House on November 18, 2018 at 6:30pm.
SEF will raffle off two tickets to see the final performance of Hamilton in Boston on Sunday, November 18th at 6:30 pm (retail value, $480). One raffle winner will be drawn at random, live, on-stage, on November 3rd at the end of the Seaside Stories Performance. In addition to being announced live, the winner will also be shared on SEF's social media platforms. The winner will be contacted by phone and/or email if not present in the audience. SEF Board Members and their immediate family members, as well as Seaside Stories Volunteers, are not eligible to participate in the raffle.
