CLASS OF 1999
Kate Blanchard Chase ‘99
One of Kate’s favorite memories from her kindergarten year at Cushing Elementary School was Mr. Moran's Kentucky Derby Race. As a class, they walked down to the high school track and raced like horses around the track. Before the race they sang “My Old Kentucky Home” and the winner took home a bed of flowers thye created out of tissue paper. Mr. Moran created such a unique and memorable learning environment!
