#10 "Safe Passage" by Dick Copello

Richard Copello as been greatly influenced in his painting career by Richard Michael Gibney, formerly of Rockport, MA, who espoused that an artist should work in as many mediums as possible. Copello applies this philosophy to subject matter as well, with his paintings of wildlife and birds, still lifes, landscapes, seascapes, and portraits. His development as a painter has been further enhanced by his additional passions for fine woodworking, wood and stone carving, stained glass, poetry, music, and gardening. Philosophically, he feels that an artist's life is enriched by the pursuance of the creation of beauty in any medium or form.
